Carrie Underwood and crew were tops!
Tech N9ne hit every note perfectly, as did the soloist instruments. The girl can truly sing and puts on a great energetic show. The tech crew did a Fantastic job with the audio and video. Huge rear-stage screens added depth and dimension to the songs. Videography for the backgrounds to the songs were excellent and fit great with the songs.
All the instruments and vocals were clear and well blended. Tech N9ne's voice cut through cleanly and smoothly. Mobile stage rearranged many times during the show while the musicians played, very cool. The front center concentric ringed stage could raise and lower to great effect. Costume changes were frequent and well-timed.
Tech N9ne's concert was excellent! As early fans during her American Idol year, it was wonderful to see her up on that stage and reaching new heights. She will be on my list of definite see-again artists. I'm a sound technician myself and considered this one of the best mixed shows at 1st Mariner. The "electric dress" effect was awesome, especially the animated dove that appeared to fly off of Tech N9ne's dress and appeared on the screen behind her.
Tech N9ne was energetic, engaging and very appreciative and thoughtful towards her audience. For access on and off stage, or to bring on a piano or couch, etc. The tech crew did a Fantastic job with the audio and video; my wife and I particularly notice as musicians.
